My name is Chantal, I'm a 32 year old amateur photographer from The Netherlands, but currently based in Greece.

I developed an interest for photography in my teenage years, and bought my first DSLR camera in 2009, a Canon EOS 1000D.
It all started as a hobby during weekends and holidays, but slowly evolved to a hobby I practice daily and try to get better at. I experiment with all kinds of subjects, from African wildlife to old ruins to animals. Lately I'm venturing into photoshoots and portraits with people.

My aim is always to get better! I went from shooting everything on auto to learning about manual settings, tripod shots, shooting in RAW, post processing and more. It's a neverending learning curve! Thankfully I'm surrounded by people who are always open for questions and help me to get better.

After hundreds of thousands of photos my DSLR is worn out, and I switched to a system camera, the Canon EOS M100. But after some time I started to miss the abilities of my DSLR, so I upgraded it to a Canon EOS 77D.

The lenses I currently carry with me are;

Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5 - 5.6 IS USM
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f.4 - 5.6 IS STM
Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 STM

Hoya ProND 1000 {10 F-stops}
Hoya ProND 64 {6 F-stops}

Right now I'm saving up for a macro lens. I love close ups, but my equipment keeps me from getting the results I want. So that's next on the list! Still I'm very happy with my current set-up.

So, thank you for visiting my website. I will try to keep it updated regularly! You can also find me on facebook:
